Looking for resources? We can help!
The NEMCC Division of Workforce Training and Economic Development offers advanced training for all customer segments. We deliver training at Northeast facilities or on-site at your location.
Industry Training
We engage with organizations throughout the year to assist them with training projects. The legislature allocates funding through continuation of the Mississippi Workforce and Education Act of 1994. In a typical year, Northeast Workforce writes more than 50 industry training projects. We invest more than $1 million of state funding in the organizations located in our five counties. Last year, more than ten thousand individuals received more than 250,000 hours of training on behalf of our organizational partners.

Essential Skills of Leadership
Each module is carefully structured to demonstrate a specific skill. The course is delivered in five modules, 4 hours each (20 hours). Location/timing of the training is employer choice. Cost per participant is $200.
Leadership techniques are developed around behavior modeling. Participants will demonstrate skills from each of the five modules and receive feedback from their peers. This method helps the student transfer new knowledge and skills back on the job in an efficient and cost-effective manner.
